Geologic history of India

⁣ In this video, we explore the fascinating geological history of India and how it came to be the landmass we know today. We start with the super continent of Pangea, which existed around 300 million years ago and included what is now India as part of its southern hemisphere. As Pangea began to break up, India started moving northward towards the Eurasian plate, eventually colliding with it around 50 million years ago.
